Inspired by her love of design, fashion, and entertaining, Emily Schuman founded cupcakes and cashmere in 2008 as a fashion and lifestyle blog, eventually expanding the business to include this e-commerce store filled with all her favorite things in 2017. She enjoys her mornings walking around SoHo with her dog, eating pasta for dinner. Prior to a full time career in fashion she worked in a Cardiology department as an Invasive Agioplasty Specialist saving lives from heart attacks.
